Our Dance Classes

5th Element Dance provides dance classes to suit all ages, levels and abilities. All of our classes have a unique structure that while the students are having fun and getting fit they are learning all the technique and skills they will need if they ever decide to teach dance or become a dancer, while progressing at their own pace. If students show the potential and a passion to take dance further we offer classes and opportunities to help them succeed. Our Excellence Programs challenge the exceptionally talented dancer, leading to part-time and full-time dance courses with various registered training organisations in Australia or internationally.

Please Contact us if you have any queries about which classes would best suit your dancer.

Little Dancers introduces the important ballet basics as well as encouraging imagination and creative movement. Our lessons include gentle introductions to ballet and jazz, feet and arm positions, strength, flexibility and co-ordination as well as moving diagonally and up and down the floor exercises. Our Little Dancers learn about dancing with the other Little Dancers as a group. We also have a focus on self-expression and interpretation as our little dancers use different props (such as wands, ribbons, fairy wings) to dramatize different styles of music.”

"The more we can do to help promote a sense of belonging and the feeling of being an integral part of the school, the better the results will be in the classroom.

When the dancers feel good about themselves and the friends around them they are more willing to take risks with their dancing and to go the extra mile for their fellow students."
